Tencarva Machinery Company acquired the assets of Southern Sales Company of Nashville, Tennessee, effective November 30, 2012.
Founded in 1923 and operating in its municipal-focused form since 1968, Southern Sales represented a broad range of water and wastewater products and services across Tennessee, Kentucky and portions of neighboring states.
The acquisition brought Southern Sales’ municipal market experience and extensive service organization into Tencarva’s broader network of pumping, fluid-handling and custom-engineered system capabilities.
Both organizations shared a customer-oriented culture and a focus on equipment selection, engineering assistance, parts, preventive maintenance and repair service.
Southern Sales continues today as a division of Tencarva Machinery Company.
